Florida Gas Transmission kept an Overage Alert Day (OAD) that was issued Thursday for market-area customers in effect through at least Friday but loosened the tolerance for negative daily imbalances from 5% to 20%.

Tennessee declared a force majeure event late Thursday afternoon due to equipment failure at Compressor Station 847 in Grenada, MS, which has resulted in partial unavailability of capacity. Tennessee estimated that it may be able to restore full capacity by Dec. 1.

Northwest said late Thursday the Jackson Prairie storage facility bottom-hole pressure test was being completed at the end of Thursday’s gas day, one day earlier than originally planned (see Daily GPI, Sept. 28). Northwest resumed accepting withdrawal nominations effective with the Intraday 1 nominations cycle for Friday’s gas day, and said injection nominations will be accepted as space becomes available. It planned to lift an Entitlement Warning for overruns Saturday.

CIG said it expects the excessive storage levels that prompted issuance of an OFO nearly a month ago (see Daily GPI, Sept. 12) to continue through October. The OFO requirements (see the bulletin board for details) will continue until further notice, but there is one change, the pipeline said. The requirement for Firm Storage and No Notice customers to supply a minimum of 70% of their injection supplies from locations south of Springfield Compressor Station was to be lowered to 60% effective with Sunday’s gas day.

NOVA said Friday it now expects to complete pipe modifications at Wildhay River Meter Station Monday (Oct. 8). Previously the company had anticipated finishing the work Sunday (see Daily GPI, Oct. 4).

Saying it was responding to customer requests, Questar extended its Bonanza Pipeline open season deadline to noon Nov. 12. The open season previously had been scheduled to end Oct. 12 (see Daily GPI, Sept. 17).
