Florida Gas Transmission (FGT) kept an Overage Alert Day for market-area customers that was initiated Aug. 4 in place through Saturday, then allowed it to lapse Sunday before reinstating one Monday with 25% tolerance for negative daily imbalances. Highs in the mid to upper 90s were forecast for Florida Monday, FGT said.

CIG declared a force majeure event late Friday afternoon as a result of the loss of compression capacity at its Mocane Compressor Station in Beaver County, OK. Due to an unexpected and significant oil leak in a turbocharger, one of the Mocane compressors is out of service, CIG said. Mocane capacity has been reduced from 50 MMcf/d to 30 MMcf/d through Wednesday, but CIG anticipates that full service at Mocane will be available for Thursday’s gas day. Based on current nomination levels, the pipeline said it does not anticipate any need to reduce primary firm transportation nominations.

Northwest began performing a unit inspection Monday at the Caldwell Compressor Station, and because primary firm nomination requests through the station have exceeded the available capacity of 412,000 Dth/d, the pipeline notified shippers of a Declared Deficiency Period that is expected to last through Friday. Based on Caldwell’s design capacity of 451,000 Dth/d, the Daily Deficiency Volume is 39,000 Dth/d, Northwest said.
