Southern California Gas declared a high-line OFO for Saturday, saying it will assess Buy-Back charges in accordance with its tariff to customers who deliver more than 110% of expected usage into its system during an OFO period.

Citing limited storage capacity, Tennessee said it would begin restricting Interruptible Storage (IS) injections across the system effective Saturday (Sept. 2). Transfers into IS accounts will not be accepted. In addition, until further notice Tennessee will not allow the following PAL (Park and Loan) services: Park agreements with withdrawals in future months, Parks and Loan Payback.

Florida Gas Transmission said it would begin unscheduled maintenance Saturday (Sept. 2) on one of three units at Station 7. The end of the work is forecasted to be sometime in October. Until then, FGT will schedule up to approximately 385,000 MMBtu/d through Station 7; normally it schedules up to 465,000 MMBtu/d.

Northern Natural Gas said its Pipeline Safety Department has determined what work is required to address a leak found Aug. 18 on a supply line to its Redfield Storage facility (see Daily GPI, Aug. 22). The affected pipeline must be hydrostatically tested, which will begin Tuesday 9/5 and continue through mid to late September. Interruptible Deferred Delivery (IDD) injection capacity may be affected by this work, Northern said, but at this time it does not anticipate any limits on Firm Deferred Delivery (FDD) injection capacity during the hydrostatic test. Northern will post further information as it becomes available.

NOVA said Interruptible Transportation Service will be restricted to 10% allowable on Partial Segment 17 (Nevis Lateral) Sept. 5-13 as a result of an upcoming in-line inspection on the Western Alberta System. The work requires NOVA to relocate the Pulldown Compressor Station, which is currently running as a supplemental compressor unit on the Nevis Lateral. Northwest said it had completed a Pleasant View to La Plata B pig run as scheduled Thursday and lifted the associated Declared Deficiency Period when the design capacity of 349,000 Dth/d at the La Plata B Compressor Station was restored Friday. Northwest expected to complete live-line welding on the Reno Lateral Friday as scheduled and said that Deficiency period would end when it was able to schedule all firm nominations through the constraint. The Owyhee Compressor Station was returned to 86,000 Dth/d Friday. On the Sept. 5-7 and 11-13 gas days flows will be redirected through temporary bypass lines. which will limit the available capacity to 81,000 Dth/d, but with the exception of those dates, capacity will remain at 86,000 Dth/d until the repairs are completed, Northwest said.

Southern Natural Gas reported completing sufficient repairs to its facilities damaged by Hurricane Katrina that it has added West Delta 75-Amoco and Main Pass 123 Pogo to a list of receipt points upstream of Toca (LA) Compressor Station that have been approved to resume flow.
