Florida Gas Transmission did not extend an Overage Alert Day for market-area customers beyond Wednesday.

NOVA will begin restricting receipt services in northwest Alberta Sept. 6 to allow for an inline inspection of the NPS 36 Western Alberta Mainline Extension. The integrity work is expected to end Sept. 13. See the bulletin board for an extensive detailed list of impacts.

Kern River said it has reduced capacity at the Veyo Compressor Station to 1,975,000 Dth/d due to a recent change in scheduled receipt locations that took effect Thursday. The reduction will continue until its system recovers, the pipeline said.

Northwest updated its schedule for south end pig runs between the Pleasant View and La Plata B compressor stations that had been scheduled to occur between Aug. 28 and Sept. 12. Citing current operating conditions, Northwest said it will perform only one pig run on Aug. 30, which will limit available capacity at La Plata B to 250,000 Dth/d. If primary nominations exceed available capacity, Northwest said, it will declare a deficiency period and cut nominations accordingly.

Gulf South will accept bids for 3 Bcf of Firm Storage Service (FSS) capacity through an interactive auction conducted at 1 p.m. CDT Friday on its website (https://www.gulfsouthpl.com/). Lowering of the North High Island Gathering System offshore Texas took even longer than Transco had expected earlier this month (see Daily GPI, Aug. 11). But the pipeline said it anticipated completion of the purge and pack process of the project Thursday and would begin accepting nominations at lateral locations for Friday’s gas day.
