Southern Natural Gas said it had it had experienced unscheduled outages Wednesday on Unit #9 at its White Castle Compressor Station in South Louisiana and at its Woodcliff Compressor Station on the Wrens-Savannah line in Georgia. Repair of the White Castle unit is in progress and it is anticipated to return to service Friday. Personnel are still assessing the damage to the Woodcliff unit, Southern said, and based on the best available information the unit will be unavailable until Aug. 17. Due to these unscheduled outages the capacity of the west leg upstream of Franklinton (LA) Compressor Station was reduced from 725,000 Dth/d to 655,000 Dth/d Thursday until further notice. The outage at Woodcliff could impact interruptible receipts from Southern LNG.

This includes all physical volumes being received at the Transco Starks meter, originating from the Southwest Loop Line (Sabine Pass Plant), and all volumes received into Tennessee at the Sabine Interconnect, Tennessee said. The project previously had been set to begin Friday.
