Florida Gas Transmission lifted Saturday an Overage Alert Day that had been in effect since the previous Monday.

Due to an unplanned engine outage, ANR is continuing engine maintenance at its LaGrange (IN) Compressor Station. The work reduces total LaGrange west-to-east CFTP capacity through Wednesday by 96 MMcf/d (leaving 610 MMcf/d available). Based on current nominations and throughput, ANR anticipates that the capacity impact will result in the curtailment of Firm Secondary and IT nominations.

Northwest will be performing a stress relief project and a pipe replacement on Douglas Pass between the Foundation Creek and Calf Canyon receipt points Tuesday through Thursday. This work requires that a section of the mainline be shut in and blown down. Northwest said it will set up a constraint point titled Douglas Pass at the location of the work. The Douglas Pass constraint point will be cut to a net zero for those three gas days. If net primary nominations exceed the constraint capacity, Northwest said, it will declare a deficiency period and cut nominations accordingly.

El Paso said it must take Line 1204 out of service upstream of Seligman Compressor Station to make repairs based on internal inspection data. The work will reduce North Mainline capacity by 175 MMcf/d effective with Cycle 1 nominations for Tuesday and continue through Wednesday. Previously scheduled maintenance on Line 1201 in the same area has been postponed until Line 1204 is back in service, El Paso said.

Southern Natural Gas reported completion of unscheduled maintenance on Unit 9 at White Castle Compressor Station in South Louisiana (see Daily GPI, Aug. 3) Monday and said capacity on the west leg upstream of Franklinton Compressor Station would be increased in the next available nominations cycle to 725,000 Dth/d until further notice. Southern also said that effective Tuesday, it is granting a blanket waiver of the minimum temperature specification for all gas it receives at the interconnection with Southern LNG. The waiver will allow gas to flow at temperatures of at least 35 degrees, the pipeline said, adding that it has tested gas operations from Elba Island at the lower temperature and has determined that the lower temperature does not cause any operational difficulties at this location. In the event any unexpected operational difficulties occur, Southern said, it will be forced to suspend the waiver.
