NOVA restored its imbalance tolerance range to the normal +4/-4 Tuesday.

El Paso canceled Bondad Station maintenance that had been scheduled for March 1-2, so there will be no reduction of station capacity on those days. Scheduled volumes through Bondad this week have allowed one turbine to be taken offline, allowing repairs to be done without any restriction, El Paso said.

Southern California Gas plans March 12-17 maintenance on Line 225 that will reduce total available receipt capacity at Wheeler Ridge to 100 MMcf/d, a reduction of approximately 780 MMcf/d. Pursuant to SoCalGas’ allocation procedure, the available capacity of 100 MMcf/d will be allocated to upstream pipelines Kern River/Mojave, Pacific Gas & Electric and Occidental based on their respective scheduled quantities from two days prior to start of the work. Kern River said that since its shippers have scheduled more than 300,000 Dth/d into Wheeler Ridge during February, they must consider how they wish to serve their markets on the SoCalGas system. The Kramer Junction delivery point will still be available, Kern River said; however, shippers should understand that this point may also become constrained if nominations from other upstream pipelines into the North Desert Transmission Zone (NDTZ), of which Kramer Junction is part, increase in response to SoCalGas’ maintenance. Under SoCalGas procedures for NDTZ, capacity at Kramer Junction is allocated based on scheduled volumes in the Evening cycle nominations; therefore, according to Kern River it is important that its shippers nominate the maximum quantity that they wish to deliver to Kramer Junction no later than the Evening cycle. “Should Kramer Junction become constrained, Kern River shippers now have the option to access the SoCalGas system via the Dag Moj [Daggett Mojave] delivery meter,” Kern River said. Those who have questions or wish to better understand how to access the SoCalGas system via Dag Moj should contact their Kern River Marketing & Customer Services representative or the Scheduling Hotline at (801) 937-6111.

Columbia Gulf said it began accepting up to 5,000 Dth/d in nominations Tuesday from the Cabot-Shallow Horn receipt point.
