Due to cold temperatures forecasted across its system for the Saturday-Monday period, Algonquin said it anticipates being unable to resolve due-shipper imbalances during this time.

Also citing cold weather forecasts, coupled with a planned supply outage at the Goldboro (NS) Gas Plant, Maritimes & Northeast said it will have no capacity for delivery of due-shipper imbalances Saturday and Sunday.

Columbia Gulf reported completing repairs on the subsea valve at Vermilion 116 on the Bluewater System West Leg’s 509A-100 Line (see Daily GPI, Feb. 22), allowing flows to resume immediately at nine Tennessee meters.

Northwest announced that it had installed a temporary filter-separator with capacity of 184,000 Dth/d at its delivery point into Questar‘s Clay Basin storage facility. The facility became available for injections Thursday, and the temporary filter-separator will be left in place until a permanent one is completed, which is expected by April 18, Northwest said. This will allow Northwest to continue using balancing flexibility to support customer nominations on the south end of its system, the pipeline added.

Targa Midstream, operator of the Lowry Plant in South Louisiana, has informed Tennessee that it will begin previously planned maintenance at the plant (see Daily GPI, Feb. 22) late Friday night. The work is expected to last five or six days. Targa will confirm plant volumes to zero effective with Timely Cycle nominations for Saturday’s gas day. Additionally, scheduled volumes at the Lac Blanc/Seahawk meter will be limited to 80,000 Dth/d until the work is complete.

Dominion said operations at the Hastings Extraction Plant (see Daily GPI, Feb. 23) will be restarted at 7 a.m. EST Friday, at which time all wet production behind the plant can return online. However, these plans are subject to change if start-up problems occur, Dominion said, so producers must check with pipeline field personnel before restoring production.

Citing a reported gas quality problem, NGPL said the Duke-Caddo receipt point in Caddo County, OK, will be unavailable for scheduling Friday until further notice.

Current operating conditions allowed capacity through the Amarillo (TX) Station to be increased by 20 MMcf/d to 265 MMcf/d Wednesday, El Paso said. Full capacity of 345 MMcf/d will not be available until emissions controls issues are resolved, which could occur by the end of February, the pipeline added.
