Tennessee Gas Pipeline said that due to nominations in excess of the available capacity it anticipates the restrictions Tuesday at the Niagara River Meter. It anticipates restricting through 58% of supply to market secondary out of the path nominations sourced from the Niagara River Meter. It will not accept any supply to market increases sourced from the Niagara River Meter and also will not accept any supply to market increases into the Zone 0/100 leg pool.

Southern Natural said that as of Aug. 11, it had 40.9 Bcf of gas in storage, which is about 68% of capacity and compares with 48.9 Bcf in storage on Aug. 12 last year and 46.6 Bcf on Aug. 14, 2003.

Florida Gas Transmission declared an Overage Alert Day Monday with a 25% tolerance due to mid-90-degree temperatures.

Kern River Gas Transmission continued to have high linepack due to excessive banking over the weekend. Shippers should ensure that they take delivery of their scheduled quantities, the company said. Temperatures across the Rockies, Southwest and parts of Southern California were 5-20 degrees below normal Monday.

Iroquois said that repairs to the Dover Compressor were expected to be complete Monday evening. However, due to the extended outage it continued to experience constraints. It is allowing no loans, unscheduled due shipper gas, ER/ED or IT through the Athens Compressor Station until further notice. In addition secondary firm transportation is subject to allocation from the through Tuesday’s gas day.
