Florida Gas Transmission lifted Saturday an Overage Alert Day notice that had been in effect since the previous Monday. FGT also said it will begin unscheduled maintenance Wednesday on one of the two compressor units at the FGT/Transco St. Helena interconnect in South Louisiana. The work is expected to last until the end of the month, during which FGT will reduce the point’s capacity to 35,000 MMBtu/d. During normal operations it schedules up to 60,000 MMBtu/d there.

NGPL said Monday it has recently experienced high hourly takes during periods of high demand in the Market Delivery Zone, which is having a detrimental impact on system operations, including the pipeline’s ability to meet storage injection requirements. Citing forecasted above normal temperatures, NGPL said beginning Tuesday until further notice, shippers and point operators must limit their hourly takes at all market-area delivery points. “If Natural’s ability to provide hourly flexibility continues to decrease, an Advisory Condition and/or Operational Flow Order (OFO) condition will occur,” it added. See the bulletin board for details of the new take limits.
