Pacific Gas & Electric put a customer-specific Stage 2 OFO into effect Wednesday and will expand it to a systemwide OFO Thursday. Both OFOs carry $1/Dth penalties for exceeding 5% tolerances on positive daily imbalances.

Florida Gas Transmission extended an Overage Alert Day notice for its market area that began July 5 through at least Wednesday, but loosened the tolerance for negative daily imbalances from 10% to 25%.

Transco notified shippers who used its Emergency Eminence Storage Service while Hurricane Dennis was causing Gulf of Mexico shut-ins that they are required to schedule injection returns plus fuel so that the withdrawn volumes will be replaced within 30 days after a storm event has ended. The Emergency Eminence storage gas used during Dennis should be replaced by the end of the Aug. 11 gas day, Transco said.

Questar will hold the first of a series of shipper meetings to address hydrocarbon dew point, liquids marketing arrangements and measurement practices on its system on Aug. 16 in Salt Lake City. The goal is to improve the competitiveness of the system and the economic transparency of services being provided to shippers, Questar said.
