Citing a need “to address operational concerns raised by downstream entities,” Texas Eastern said it will begin notifying point operators on its 24-inch diameter system between Provident City in South Texas and North Little Rock, AR where receipts do not conform with tariff specifications on gas quality that they must bring their supplies into compliance. “Parties with installed processing equipment must start operating such equipment immediately,” Texas Eastern said. It set a compliance deadline of June 30 for all other parties, and said if necessary, noncomplying operators will be asked to shut in immediately.

Sea Robin said Thursday it has once again postponed unscheduled maintenance at East Cameron 265, this time to an unspecified date. As of Wednesday, the pipeline had expected to perform the work Thursday and Friday (see Daily GPI, May 5).

NGPL reported that a gas quality problem at the Ozark-White receipt point in White County, AR (see Daily GPI, May 5) has been resolved and the associated restriction was lifted Thursday.

Southern Star Central (formerly Williams) posted a lengthy list of locations on its system that will have their names changed effective June 1. “SSC has contacted operators for these changes so that SSC and the customer can reference a location by a common name,” the pipeline said. “These changes will hopefully lessen confusion between SSC and operators.” See the bulletin board for details.
