West Texas Gas experienced a mechanical failure at its Davis Plant, Questar said Friday. The unavailability of the processing plant for most of Friday’s gas day left Questar unable to deliver to TransColorado at the Greasewood delivery point, so Questar cut Greasewood nominations to elapsed pro rata levels in Cycle 3 Friday. Questar said Davis repairs were expected to be completed and nominations back to normal by Saturday’s gas day. The incident occurred on the heels of Questar announcing a March 7-11 maintenance outage at Davis Plant that would also have the effect of suspending deliveries to TransColorado (see Daily GPI, Feb. 25).

Iroquois said Friday it is continuing to experience mechanical problems at Dover Compressor Station and lower pipeline pressures. It requested Zone 2 point operators to be at or below their scheduled volumes through Friday’s gas day. Iroquois said it hoped to fix the problems as soon as possible to avoid curtailments at Athens Compressor Station.

Columbia Gas said that for March only, it is increasing the Section 4(c) limitation of its FSS Rate Schedule that allows a maximum monthly net withdrawal of 20% of an FSS customer’s Storage Contract Quantity. The revised maximum in March is 25%. The Maximum Daily Withdrawal Quantity will not be waived unless specifically posted each day, the pipeline said.
