Sonat reported finding additional Hurricane Ivan-caused damage on the Main Pass 311 tap assembly that had not detected during the initial post-Ivan dive investigations. In order to make repairs, the Main Pass 311-A meter has been isolated and the pipeline declared a force majeure at the point. Sonat is not accepting nominations at Main Pass 311-A until further notice. Based on its best information available, Sonat expects to complete repairs and return the point to service sometime Saturday. However, it noted there are many variables when making repairs offshore, and this schedule could change.

Citing a line outage on TGT, Dominion said it is barring any increases of SD or IT nominations at its TXG-Lebanon interconnect in Ohio effective with Thursday’s Evening Cycle and will begin limiting receipts there to Primary service only Friday until further notice.

Columbia Gulf has postponed valve testing at Vermilion 245 offshore Louisiana until further notice. Also, additional Vermilion 245 maintenance that was scheduled to begin next week was postponed until further notice, Columbia Gulf said.

The operator of the Sabine Plant has informed Tennessee that the processing plant was being shut down at the start of Wednesday’s gas day for about two days of repairs. Tennessee said it will monitor system gas quality during the plant shutdown and will take “appropriate actions if the hydrocarbon dew point of the gas in the pipeline adversely impacts pipeline operations.” However, based on the limited time of the shutdown, Tennessee does not anticipate any problems.

For the month of February only, Columbia Gas is increasing the Section 4(c) limitation of its FSS rate schedule, which normally allows a maximum monthly net withdrawal of 30% of a shipper’s storage contract quantity. The revised maximum for February 2005 is 35%.
