Sonat canceled Tuesday the Type 6 OFO for short imbalances that was issued Sunday.

Florida Gas Transmission lifted Tuesday an Overage Alert Day notice that had been in effect for the previous two days.

Northern Natural Gas declared force majeure due to a mechanical problem with engine number 26 at the Palmyra (NE) Compressor Station. The pipeline said the engine’s return to service date is not known at this time. “Since Palmyra is a critical link in the Demarc grouping and if the unit has not returned to service, the possibility exists for a Demarc allocation” up to 200,000 Dth/d beginning Wednesday, it said. (Late Tuesday afternoon NNG confirmed that it did allocate Demarc for Wednesday’s gas day. Investigation of the extent of repairs on the Palmyra engine was still in progress, it said.)
