Texas Eastern said Tuesday afternoon it would complete repairs by Wednesday on a leak discovered in late February (see Daily GPI, Feb. 24) in the Mississippi River crossing of the M-1 24-inch line east of the Oran (MO) Compressor Station. The pipeline will begin accepting nominations for Thursday’s gas day for flow through Oran.

The Amerada Hess-operated Sea Robin Processing Plant in South Louisiana was shut down for unplanned maintenance Monday afternoon, Sea Robin Pipeline reported Tuesday. The plant will continue to dehydrate during the outage. The earliest estimate for resumption of processing is Wednesday morning. Due to excessive Btu content, downstream pipeline operators LRC and Sabine were not accepting nominations from the plant Tuesday until the outage ends.

Florida Gas Transmission extended Monday’s Overage Alert Day notice through at least Tuesday but loosened the tolerance for negative daily imbalances from 10% to 20%.

El Paso canceled shutdowns of the Gallup Station’s B unit and Lines 1200 and 1201 that had been scheduled for Friday, saying there will be no reduction of San Juan Basin capacity that day. However, pigging of Line 1204 from Navajo Station to Leupp Station will be done, causing a 375 MMcf/d reduction of North Mainline capacity. In addition, Puckett Station will be down Sept. 2 to repair an air leak, El Paso said. Gas from the ITERRELL, IPUCKETT, IMLTERPK and IYUCBUTE interconnects must be routed to Keystone instead of Waha, and will be limited to a total of 70 MMcf/d.
