Southern California Gas kept an Overnominations Day alert in effect from Friday through Sunday before ending it Monday.

A high-inventory OFO by Pacific Gas & Electric was lifted after Friday.

Tennessee canceled a systemwide OFO Action Alert at the start of Monday’s gas day.

Sonat completed repairs Friday night on a Muldon (MS) Storage Field compressor that had experienced an unscheduled outage at midweek (see Daily GPI, July 3). Sonat also noted that maintenance Tuesday through Friday of this week at the Bienville (LA) Compressor Station will reduce station capacity by about 40,000 Dth/d. Upstream receipts must be reduced to scheduled quantities by the start of the gas day Tuesday, the pipeline said.

Citing a force majeure on the South End System of Northern Natural Gas and “changes in the operation of Northern’s South End and the impact on Transwestern‘s Lipscomb-Mocaine and Leedy Laterals,” Transwestern said gas received east of its Canadian River Compressor Station can no longer be delivered by Transwestern by means of displacement. Consequently, beginning with nominations for Tuesday’s gas day gas received at certain Transwestern receipt points can only be delivered at certain delivery points and no others (including the Panhandle Pool). Both sets of affected points are listed on the bulletin board.

Columbia Gulf reported completion of South Pass pigging replacement work and said service had been restored at the West Delta 109 and South Pass Block 57 and South Pass Block 78 meter stations. However, Columbia Gulf will remain unable to accept nominations at South Pass Block 77 until July 17, when work there is due to be finished.
