Zero tolerance for positive daily imbalances was in effect for Pacific Gas & Electric‘s declaration of a systemwide Stage 2 high-inventory OFO for Saturday. Penalties were $1/Dth.

ANR reported Friday it had received its 48-hour notice from the contractor (see Daily GPI, June 24) about third-party salvage work to be done at Ship Shoal 207 due to damage from last year’s Hurricane Lili. The work requires the shut-in of 12 meters between Eugene Island 188 and Ship Shoal 207 for the June 29-July 10 period.

Dominion announced that as of Saturday (June 28) and until further notice, total receipts into its system at the Tennessee Ellisburg interconnect will be reduced to 130,000 Dth/d.

The new Roberson Creek bidirectional meter in Wyoming, operated by Questar, has been set up for shipper nominations and operator confirmations for the July 1 gas day, Kern River said Friday. From Kern River’s perspective, the meter has receipt capacity of 250,000 Dth/d and delivery capacity of 100,000 Dth/d. An Operational Balancing Agreement between the two pipelines is in place for Roberson Creek.

Park and Loan (PAL) service on the north portion of Northwest‘s system in association with the Jackson Prairie storage facility became available Friday, the pipeline said. FERC authorized this additional tool to help shippers manage supply and balancing needs in an order issued June 25, it added. See the bulletin board for further details.
