Pacific Gas & Electric tightened the tolerance for positive daily imbalances from 9% to 6% in extending a Stage 2 high-inventory OFO through at least Saturday.

Operator Northern Natural Gas said Friday it is continuing to assess the Matagorda Offshore Pipeline System leak detected near the Matagorda Island 759 platform (see Daily GPI, June 20). Production was brought back online Thursday afternoon but could be affected for the June 20-23 gas days, NNG said. It urged shippers to monitor its Internet bulletin board and/or telephone hotline for further updates.

NNG also reported the Roger Mills Compressor Station in Oklahoma until further notice after it experienced a force majeure situation Thursday. The action affects eight points.

Line 3114 between the Midkiff and Sweetie Peck Stations had to be taken out of service for emergency repairs, El Paso said Friday. The pipeline was keeping markets whole for the rest of Friday’s gas day; however, the ISTERLIN, IMIDKIFF, IPHSPBRY, ITEXHARV, IEDWJAMI, ICONSTER and ISUNJAME receipt points were not being scheduled for Saturday’s Cycle 1 and until further notice. Line 3114’s return to service was not known as of Friday, El Paso said. Delivery points taking gas from El Paso in the area will be fed from linepack and should not be affected, it added.
