Pacific Gas & Electric declared a systemwide Stage 2 high-inventory OFO for Friday. It carried a relatively loose positive imbalance tolerance of 9% and penalties of $1/Dth.

Matagorda Offshore Pipeline System operator Northern Natural Gas ordered the shut-in of 23 receipt points and nine delivery points after a leak was detected on the 24-inch MOPS mainline near the Matagorda Island Block 759 platform offshore Texas. Affected points were taken to zero flow Thursday for downtime that is expected to last about 84 hours.

El Paso lifted Thursday an Unauthorized Overpull Penalty situation that had been declared Tuesday.

ANR delayed a shut-in of 12 meters between the Eugene Island 188 and Ship Shoal 207 platforms, necessitated by third-party salvage work at Ship Shoal 207 associated with last year’s Hurricane Lili, until June 23-July 2. Previously the outage had been set for June 21-29 (see Daily GPI, June 16).

Due to pigging and riser/valve replacement work, Columbia Gulf will be unable to accept nominations June 23-July 1 at the South Pass 77, 57 and 78 and West Delta 109 meters in the Tennessee-operated South Pass system.
