Only a day after ending a systemwide high-inventory OFO, Pacific Gas & Electric issued a new one for Saturday. The latest order was classified as Stage 3 and carried penalties of $5/Dth for exceeding a positive imbalance tolerance of 4%.

Following through for a change this spring on a previous-day advisory, Florida Gas Transmission declared an Overage Alert Day notice Friday for its market area. The notice had a 15% tolerance for negative daily imbalances.

Northern Natural Gas said it began accepting nominations again for Friday’s gas day at 11 points affected by an explosion earlier this month at its Kermit Compressor Station in West Texas (see Daily GPI, June 6). However, a force majeure will remain in affect for the Sid Richardson interconnect until further notice, NNG said.

Due to damage associated with Hurricane Lili in 2002, third-party salvage work at Ship Shoal 207 will require ANR to shut in 12 meters between Eugene Island 188 and Ship Shoal 207 during the June 21-29 period.

The Amerada Hess-operated Sea Robin Processing Plant continues to be shut down for a plant turnaround and improvements (see Daily GPI, May 29), Sea Robin Pipeline advised shippers Friday, but the outage should be completed by the start of Wednesday’s gas day. Downstream pipes Sabine and LRC-Bridgeline are not accepting Sea Robin deliveries due to out-of-spec gas. Columbia Gulf and Trunkline were accepting deliveries up to totals of 200 MMBtu/d and 50 MMBtu/d respectively for gas days June 13-16, Sea Robin Pipeline said.
