Reacting to today’s events won’t get ExxonMobil Corp. where it wants to go in the next 10-15 years, CEO Rex Tillerson said Thursday. Texas Lawmaker Proposes Fees on LNG, Gas Transfers
A Texas lawmaker wants to charge a 25 cent/boe fee for the transfer of liquefied natural gas (LNG), crude oil and petroleum products to or from marine terminals in order to support a $20 million fund that would pay for measures to combat coastal erosion. However, it is in doubt whether the fee would be in compliance with the U.S. Constitution.

Florida Power Proposes 300-Mile Intrastate Gas Pipeline
Florida Power & Light Co. (FPL) said last week it wants to construct a 300-mile intrastate natural gas pipeline to move gas north to Bradford County from Palm Beach County. The proposal, which was filed with the Florida Public Service Commission (PSC), said the pipeline could be in service as early as 2014.
