Throughput

Transportation Notes

Due to the extent of work required at Muddy Gap Compressor Station (see Daily GPI, Dec. 27, 2002), throughput on the Wind River Lateral is expected to stay restricted to 225 MMcf/d through Monday (Jan. 6), returning to normal for Tuesday’s Cycle 1 nominations, CIG said. It had previously expected to complete the repairs Friday. The lateral extends from CIG’s Lost Cabin Compressor Station to the Rawlins Compressor Station.

A little more than half of Destin Pipeline’s recent throughput of about 800 MMcf/d was cut Friday due to an outage of one of the processing trains at the BP Amoco-operated plant in Pascagoula, MS, according to a Destin spokesman. He said the train was expected to be returned to service by Saturday.

Transportation Notes

Destin Pipeline will shut in when the Pascagoula (MS) Gas Plant begins about four days of maintenance May 1 at 6:30 p.m. CDT. Current Destin throughput is about 650 MMcf/d, a staffer said. The pipeline will accept about one-third of normal nominations for the May 1 gas day and will resume taking nominations on May 5 once the plant is operational. The start of the plant work represents a one-day postponement from when it was originally announced last month (see Daily GPI, March 12).
