East Tennessee Natural Gas expected to complete final steps towards placement of the Patriot Extension facilities into service Thursday afternoon and thus was accepting nominations for Friday gas flow on Patriot. The project’s service start-up was delayed from last week’s projection of this past Tuesday (see Daily GPI, Nov. 14).

Massey: FERC to Clear Most Western ‘Underbrush,’ Focus on Future
At its regular meeting on Wednesday, FERC is going to take “very, very substantial steps toward resolving all of the important old business” related to allegations of manipulation of the natural gas and electricity prices in western markets, said Commissioner William Massey last week.
