EQT Corp. is suspending its Huron Shale program “indefinitely” in light of low commodity prices, the Pittsburgh company announced in a one line statement Friday.

WPX Energy Inc., the exploration arm of Williams, will move into the S&P 500 at the close of trading on Friday, according to Standard & Poor’s (S&P).

Transwestern issued a systemwide Alert Day notice due to low linepack for Monday, prompting Southwest Gas to follow up with a Hold Burn to Scheduled Quantities notice. Both actions were canceled Tuesday as a result of Transwestern linepack returning to normal.

Southwest said it did not plan on flowing any gas from Transwestern for Monday’s gas day and therefore did not declare an OFO, but would issue an OFO “should this situation change.”

Southern California Gas set a positive imbalance tolerance of 10% in issuing a high-linepack OFO for Saturday.
