Pacific Gas & Electric issued a systemwide Stage 2 high-inventory OFO for Saturday on its California Gas Transmission system, setting penalties of $1/Dth for shippers exceeding a 7% tolerance on positive daily imbalances.

Connecticut Attorney General Richard Blumenthal Thursday called on the state’s regulators to impose significant penalties on Connecticut Natural Gas (CNG) for a rash of customer overbillings in January and February.

Southern Natural Gas will implement an OFO Type 6 for short imbalances Friday. Tiered penalties will apply to shippers who run negative imbalances exceeding 2% or 200 Dth, whichever is greater. Southern said it is highly likely that the OFO will be extended through at least Saturday.

Pacific Gas & Electric implemented a customer-specific Stage 2 low-inventory OFO for its California Gas Transmission system Thursday and extended it through at least Friday. Penalties of $1/Dth were set for negative daily imbalances exceeding a 5% tolerance.

Pacific Gas & Electric issued a systemwide Stage 3 high-inventory OFO for Wednesday on its California Gas Transmission system. Penalties of $5/Dth will apply to shippers who exceed a positive daily imbalance tolerance of 3%.

Pacific Gas & Electric issued a systemwide Stage 2 high-inventory OFO for Wednesday. The OFO carried penalties of $1/Dth for exceeding a 5% tolerance on positive daily imbalances.

Pacific Gas & Electric issued a systemwide Stage 2 high-inventory OFO for Saturday on its California Gas Transmission system. Noncompliance penalties were set at $1/Dth for exceeding a 12% tolerance on positive daily imbalances.

Pacific Gas & Electric’s California Gas Transmission system issued a Stage 2 low-inventory OFO for Thursday. Penalties of $1/Dth will be assessed against customers exceeding a 5% tolerance on negative daily imbalances.
