Citing Florida forecasts in the mid 90s and saying utilization of its capacity was high, Florida Gas Transmission issued an Overage Alert Day for market-area customers Tuesday, setting a tolerance of 25% for negative daily imbalances.

Florida Gas Transmission did not extend an Overage Alert Day beyond Monday.

After lifting an Overage Alert Day for market-area customers Saturday, Florida Gas Transmission reinstated one Monday. The tolerance for negative daily imbalances was again 25%.

Florida Gas Transmission (FGT) previously had ended an Overage Alert Day for market-area customers after it had been in effect for only Tuesday last week, but with Florida forecasts of highs in the mid 90s Friday and utilization of its linepack being high, a new OAD with 25% tolerance for negative daily imbalances was issued Friday.

Forecasts of peak Florida temperatures in the 90s and high usage of its linepack prompted Florida Gas Transmission to issue an Overage Alert Day for market-area customers Tuesday. The tolerance for negative daily imbalances was set at 25%.

Florida Gas Transmission extended an Overage Alert Day (OAD) through at least Friday but loosened the tolerance for negative daily imbalances again to the 25% level that was in effect when the OAD was initiated Tuesday.

Florida Gas Transmission kept an Overage Alert Day in place through a third day Thursday but adjusted the tolerance for negative daily imbalances again, this time upward to 20% from 15%.

Florida Gas Transmission tightened the tolerance for negative daily imbalances from 25% to 15% in extending an Overage Alert Day through at least Wednesday.

After ending a previous Overage Alert Day Saturday, Florida Gas Transmission issued a new one Tuesday, saying Florida temperatures were forecast to reach the mid 90s and utilization of its capacity was high. The tolerance for negative daily imbalances was set at 25%.
