FERC on Wednesday said both Trunkline Gas and ANR Pipeline have misused “critical notices” and operational flow orders (OFOs) to impose stricter quality limits for natural gas accepted into their systems, and ordered the two pipelines to stop the practices.

CFTC Claims Texas Firm Misused Funds to Cover Gas Futures Trading Losses

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) on Tuesday filed a complaint in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas against Corpus Christi, TX-based Allegheny Gulf Investments Inc. and an employee, charging them with misappropriating customers’ funds to cover $2 million in natural gas futures trading losses.
