Energy Transfer Expanding Eagle Ford Project

Energy Transfer Partners LP (ETP) will “significantly expand” its Rich Eagle Ford Mainline (REM) project in South Texas and construct a processing facility in Jackson County, TX, to accommodate more than 540,000 MMBtu/d of new commitments for long-term fee-based services from multiple producers, the partnership said Thursday.

Enbridge Sees Appetite for Bakken Takeaway Capacity Continuing to Grow

With rapidly expanding development in the oily Bakken Shale and Three Forks formations of North Dakota, Enbridge Energy Partners LP (EEP) and Enbridge Income Fund Holdings Inc. (EIF) said Monday that additional shippers have finalized capacity commitments to the Bakken Expansion Program and the companies expect that additional capacity will be required by producers in the near future.

El Paso will be working on the Gallup C Station scrubber filters Dec. 1-2. From an estimated base of 2,880 MMcf/d for San Juan Basin and San Juan Mainline, capacity will be reduced by 295 MMcf/d each day, the pipeline said.

Williams Partners LP’s Northwest Pipeline GP has received authorization from Federal Energy Regulatory Commission to place its 30-inch diameter mainline loop, known as the Sundance Trail Expansion, into service. The project includes about 15.5 miles of pipeline and related facilities that will provide 150,000 Dth/d of firm capacity from the Greasewood and Meeker/White River hubs in Rio Blanco County, CO, to the Opal Hub area in Lincoln County, WY. Northwest replaced and added compression at its Vernal Compressor Station in Uintah County, UT. The project cost about $56 million.

LLC is holding a binding open season through Feb. 12 for firm transportation capacity commencing Nov. 1, 2013 to support system mainline expansions linking the Marcellus Shale in New York to the state’s Manhattan borough. In November Texas Eastern Transmission LP (Tetco) and Iroquois Gas Transmission System LP each announced open seasons for projects that would target growing production in the Marcellus Shale (see NGI, Nov. 23, 2009). Tetco announced that Range Resources would be the anchor shipper on an expansion of its system to deliver Marcellus gas to the Northeast and Iroquois Gas Transmission System LP announced a nonbinding open season through Friday (Jan. 29) for its NYMarc project, which would connect expanding Marcellus Shale gas supplies to New York, New England and eastern Canadian gas markets.
