The U.S. Coast Guard Thursday issued a favorable draft supplemental environmental assessment (EA) that supports a “letter of recommendation” (LOR) finding that increased tanker traffic from the expansion of the Dominion Cove Point liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal in Cove Point, MD, will not create significant environmental risks to the Chesapeake Bay.
