After allowing a previous high-linepack OFO to expire Monday, Southern California Gas (SoCalGas) declared a new one for Wednesday, setting a positive daily imbalance tolerance of 10%. However, the e-mailed OFO notice did not get sent until shortly after 7:30 a.m. CDT Wednesday morning. Spokeswoman Denise King confirmed that despite the late announcement, Wednesday was the effective date of the OFO. SoCalGas also said Wednesday it had completed the final tie-in of field Line 159 at its Goleta storage facility; the work previously had been expected to last through Friday. The early finish allowed the utility to restore 140 MMcf/d of withdrawal capacity and 60 MMcf/d of injection capacity at Goleta.

Noting that the force majeure declared Monday at Cheyenne Compressor Station remains in effect, Rockies Express (REX) said it had completed an assessment and procured the necessary parts to repair the impacted compressor unit. REX said it had begun removing the damaged transformer Tuesday, “but given the potential for adverse weather conditions, resumption of service is now anticipated to occur on or about Sunday” instead of Thursday as previously hoped. Until further notice nominated quantities through Segment 200 will be limited to 1,550,000 Dth/d, which means AOR/IT, secondary and primary FT volumes are at risk of not being fully scheduled, the pipeline said. Also, REX said it has canceled March 16-17 maintenance at Wamsutter Compressor Station that had been announced last month.

Rockies Express (REX) said Tuesday that a force majeure declared Nov. 14 east of Chandlersville Compressor Station remained in effect. However, it expected to restore partial service Wednesday in the section from near Chandlersville to its eastern terminus in Clarington, OH (Segment 390). The segment will initially be returned to service at about 88% of contracted capacity in effect prior to the force majeure event, REX said; this limitation is expected to stay in effect for less than two weeks. Starting with Wednesday gas day, the limited delivery capacity will become available at the following Clarington-area interconnects: Tennessee Guernsey, Dominion Noble, Dominion Clarington, TETCO [Texas Eastern] Clarington and E OH Gas [East Ohio Gas] Clarington.
