New York Utilities Form Public Policy Coalition

Haynesville Water Pipeline Enters Service

Heckmann Corp. has begun transporting fresh water to hydraulic fracturing (fracking) customers in the Haynesville Shale through a partially completed pipeline. When the system is completed, it will be the largest fresh water pipeline in the Haynesville area, the company said.

Water handling solutions provider Heckmann Corp. has bought pumping and delivery services company Consolidated Petroleum Inc. Heckmann said the acquisition boosts its ability to provide fresh water for fracking.
