Alaska House lawmakers Tuesday approved a license for TransCanada Corp. to develop a gasline to tap North Slope gas reserves and carry them to Canada and Lower 48 markets. A subsidiary of Anadarko Petroleum Corp. has agreed to be a foundation shipper on the proposed Bison Pipeline Project, which would carry its Powder River Basin natural gas supplies out of the Rockies, Northern Border Pipeline Co. said late Wednesday.
