NGS Energy is holding a binding open season through June 16 for gas storage services to be provided at its Leaf River Energy Center, a new salt cavern facility located in Smith County, MS, the company said.

Monroe Gas Storage Co., a venture of Foothills Energy Ventures LLC and High Sierra Energy LP, is holding a binding open season for up to 1 Bcf of firm, high-deliverability capacity at its Monroe Gas Storage facility under construction near Amory, MS. The facility will use a depleted gas reservoir to provide multi-cycle storage with a maximum injection capability of 445 MMcf/d and a maximum withdrawal capability of 465 MMcf/d. The project will have dual interconnections to Texas Eastern Transmission Co. in the M1 market zone and Tennessee Gas Pipeline into the 500 Leg in Zone 1. NiSource Gas Transmission & Storage (NGT&S) unit Columbia Gas Transmission (CGT) is holding a binding open season until 12 p.m. CDT April 3 for transportation capacity to Eastern markets following modifications to CGT’s Easton Compressor Station. The modifications were designed to increase delivery capacity from the Wagoner interconnection point between Columbia and Millennium pipelines on Columbia’s Line 1278. Southern Star Central Gas Pipeline Inc. announced a potential new delivery project and the commencement of an open season to solicit binding bids for new firm deliveries to Northern Natural Gas (NNG). Southern Star has determined that it can construct facilities capable of providing firm deliveries up to 64,750 Dth/d. NNG is holding a concurrent open season to allow customers access to firm capacity on both systems. The delivery project will allow for new deliveries into NNG’s field area at Kiowa County, KS, from Southern Star’s KH Line (Line Segment 130) in the production zone. Bids for the delivery project should be submitted by 5 p.m. CDT March 27. Open season information is available on Southern Star’s electronic bulletin board at http://csi.sscgp.com. A binding open season was launched Friday by Energy Transfer Partners LP (ETP) to solicit market interest in the Tiger Pipeline, a 180-mile, 42-inch diameter interstate system that would carry growing natural gas supplies from the Haynesville Shale.

Destin Pipeline Co. LLC is holding a binding open season through Feb. 9 for up to 380 MMcf/d of firm capacity from Clarke County, MS, and other onshore receipt points to interconnects with Florida Gas Transmission, Gulf South and Gulfstream pipelines.

Millennium Pipeline Co. LLC is holding a binding open season through Dec. 10 offering firm forward-haul capacity beginning on its in-service date, which is expected to be Dec. 15. Shippers may request firm service from any authorized mainline receipt point to any authorized mainline delivery point. Millennium can serve, directly or indirectly, markets in New York, New Jersey and New England. Western New York gas storage can be accessed directly via Millennium. And Canadian gas can be delivered through interconnections with Empire State Pipeline.
