Tennessee Gas Pipeline Co. LLC is holding a binding open season through Aug. 20 for firm capacity on the Rose Lake Expansion Project, which would provide incremental firm capacity from Zone 4 receipt points between Stations 321 and 313 to delivery points at its existing interconnection with National Fuel Gas Supply at Rose Lake and the Zone 4 Station 219 Pool. Tennessee said it expects firm capacity for the expansion project to be around 230,000 Dth/d, with an in-service date of Nov. 1, 2014. The company is also offering additional limited term capacity from mutually agreeable receipt points in Zone 4 between Tennessee’s Stations 321 and 313, the Rose Lake interconnection with National Fuel and/or the Station 219 Pool. The company is specifically offering up to 55,000 Dth/d from Nov. 1, 2014 to Oct. 31, 2016, and up to 15,000 Dth/d from Nov. 1, 2016 to March 31, 2017, all to Rose Lake/Station 313.

FERC Monday issued a favorable environmental assessment (EA) of Tennessee Gas Pipeline’s Northeast Upgrade Project, which when combined with the 300 Line expansion that recently went into service, will add 1 Bcf/d of capacity to transport gas from the Marcellus Shale basin to Northeast markets.

Crosstex NGL Pipeline LP is holding a binding open season through Oct. 14 for capacity on a new natural gas liquids (NGL) pipeline system (the Crosstex NGL Pipeline) to transport unfractionated NGLs produced in the Permian Basin, Midcontinent, Barnett Shale, Eagle Ford Shale and Rocky Mountain areas from the Mont Belvieu, TX, area to NGL fractionation facilities in Eunice and Riverside, LA. Crosstex Energy LP and Crosstex Energy Inc. plan to construct the common carrier pipeline with a preliminary design capacity of at least 70,000 b/d to Eunice, with a lesser amount of capacity available to Riverside (see Shale Daily, July 27). El Paso Corp. and Spectra Energy Corp. said their Marcellus Ethane Pipeline System (MEPS) (see Shale Daily, Oct. 26, 2010) is holding a 30-day binding open season for shippers that desire ethane transportation service from West Virginia and Pennsylvania Marcellus Shale supply areas to destination interconnect points with third-party ethane pipelines or storage facilities in the Gulf Coast area. The MEPS project is being designed to transport up to 90,000 b/d and has an anticipated in-service date of 4Q 2014. The open season will close at 5 p.m. EDT on July 27.
