Affiliates Oasis Pipeline LP and Oasis Pipe Line Co. Texas LP have asked FERC for Section 3 Natural Gas Act authorization to build and operate pipeline facilities at the U.S.-Mexico border to export gas for use by gas-fired electric generation plants and industrial customers in northern Mexico. The border-crossing facilities are proposed as part of a much larger expansion of the Oasis system.

Maritimes & Northeast Pipeline LLC Monday asked FERC for authorization to start up its Phase IV expansion by Jan. 15. The project, which doubles the capacity of its existing pipeline, will support service from the Canaport liquefied natural gas (LNG) import terminal that is scheduled to be fully operational in the first quarter.

Boardwalk Pipeline Partners LP subsidiaries Gulf Crossing Pipeline Co. LLC and Gulf South Pipeline Co. LP have asked FERC for authorization to place their 42-inch diameter Mississippi Loop in service by Dec. 29, the companies said Tuesday.

Texas Gas Transmission Inc. has filed an application seeking FERC authorization for a compression expansion of its Fayetteville and Greenville laterals, which currently are under construction. The expansion is needed because production from the prolific-Fayetteville Shale basin in North Central Arkansas “is exceeding anticipated production schedules,” the pipeline said.
