Antero Resources Corp. said Thursday that it earned more than $1 billion through a stock offering and changes to its natural gas hedge portfolio, securing some of the cash it needs to support year/year production growth of 20-22% through 2020.

Antero Resources Corp. is guiding for continued improvements in natural gas liquids (NGL) pricing in 2017, and its acreage holdings and infrastructure position mean the company is ready to take advantage, management told analysts.

Antero Midstream Partners LP (AM) said late Monday that it would buy in to the largest natural gas liquids infrastructure system in the Appalachian Basin through a unique 50/50 joint venture with MarkWest Energy Partners LP.

BridgeTex Pipeline Co. LLC, which is owned 50/50 by Magellan Midstream Partners LP and Plains All American Pipeline LP, is expanding its current capacity from the Permian Basin of 300,000 b/d to 400,000 b/d. Expansion capacity is expected to be available in the second quarter following enhancements to existing pumps and related equipment. The 20-inch diameter BridgeTex system transports Permian crude oil from Colorado City, TX, to the Houston Gulf Coast area. Beginning early in the second quarter, a new origin point at Bryan, TX, which is 100 miles northwest of Houston, will begin operations to accept shipments from the Eaglebine region for delivery to Houston.

FERC has granted Tennessee Gas Pipeline LLC (TGP) permission to make modifications to two existing compressor stations in Kentucky as part of its proposed Broad Run Expansion Project, but it said the company may not yet begin construction elsewhere.

Antero Resources Corp. has filed at FERC to intervene in Tennessee Gas Pipeline Co. LLC’s request for a rehearing of the Commission’s order authorizing the construction and operation of the Broad Run Expansion Project, arguing in support of the lower fuel rates TGP has proposed.

DTE Energy Co. said it has agreed to purchase two natural gas gathering systems in Pennsylvania and West Virginia for a combined $1.3 billion, adding to its midstream portfolio and expanding its presence into the southwest Marcellus and Utica shales.
