Dynegy Inc. has named Marian Davenport senior vice president of legislative and regulatory affairs, reporting to Kenneth Randolph, executive vice president and general counsel. Davenport has had various executive positions with Dynegy since it acquired Destec Energy in 1997, where she was director of project development.

Duke Energy Field Services (DEFS) today announced the elections of Rose M. Robeson as vice president/CFO and Brent L. Backes as vice president, general counsel, and secretary. Their new positions are effective immediately. Robeson, 41, joined DEFS in May 2000 as vice president and treasurer. Previously, she was with Kinder Morgan, Inc. Backes, 42, joined DEFS in April 1998 as senior attorney. Prior to joining DEFS, he was senior associate attorney with LeBoeuf, Lamb, Greene & MacRae, LLP DEFS is a premier North American midstream company that leads or is among the nation’s leaders in the gathering and processing of natural gas, transportation and marketing of NGLs. Duke Energy owns approximately 70% of the joint venture and Phillips Petroleum owns about 30%.
