Ozark Gas Transmission LLC is seeking FERC authorization to transfer all of its natural gas gathering lines and associated gathering compression facilities in the states of Oklahoma and Arkansas to affiliate Ozark Arkansas Gas Gathering LLC (OAGG) for the net depreciated book value of $5.93 million.

The Oklahoma City, OK-based interstate gas pipeline says that “approval of this proposal will enable it to focus on its primary business of interstate natural gas transportation.”

Specifically, Ozark Gas Transmission proposes to spin down 137 miles of lateral gathering lines ranging up to 12 inches in diameter, 12 compressor stations and 134 well connects in the two states. The pipeline noted that gathering service would not be interrupted because OAGG has agreed to continue serving Ozark Gas Transmission’s existing gathering customers [CP05-51].

Ozark Gas Transmission also requested that FERC determine that the gathering facilities to be transferred to OAGG will be exempt from Commission jurisdiction under the Natural Gas Act.

The pipeline, whose system stretches from eastern Oklahoma to Dunklin County, MO, urged FERC to approve the transfer of the facilities by May 1 of this year.
