  • The UK’s National Gas Transmission company reported the country is expected to have enough natural gas to meet summer demand this year.
  • In its annual summer outlook, the UK was estimated to receive 33.25 billion cubic meters (Bcm) of supply, compared with 42.2 Bcm in the year-prior period. Total gas demand in the UK was forecast at 33.25 Bcm from April to September, compared with 42.08 Bcm in the year-prior.
  • UK supply is expected to come mainly from domestic fields in the North Sea and Norway, “with the balance being secured by LNG,” the report’s authors wrote.
