Alaska Gov. Bill Walker made three appointments to the board of the Alaska Gasline Development Corp. (AGDC), the agency tasked with overseeing state-led development of a pipeline and liquefied natural gas (LNG) project to commercialize North Slope natural gas (see Daily GPIAug. 26). Warren Christian of North Pole and David Wight of Anchorage will fill vacancies on the board that have occurred due to an expiring term and a resignation. Additionally, Hugh Short of Girdwood was reappointed. Christian is president of Doyon Associated LLC, which specializes in arctic pipeline construction and associated infrastructure. Wight was president and CEO of the Alyeska Pipeline Service Co. from 2000 to 2006. Prior to that he was the president and chairman of BP Amoco Energy Co. Trinidad and Tobago from 1992 to 2000, playing an integral role in the development and construction of an LNG facility in Trinidad. Short was first appointed to the AGDC board in February 2015. He has been the president and CEO of PT Capital since 2012. Prior to that, he served as president, CEO and vice president of Alaska Growth Capital, and vice president of Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corp.

Cheniere Energy Inc. announced management changes. Michael Wortley, currently senior vice president (SVP) and CFO, will become executive vice president and CFO. Anatol Feygin, currently SVP, strategy and corporate development will become executive vice president and chief commercial officer. Tom Bullis will become executive vice president and chief administrative officer. Ed Lehotsky will become SVP, engineering and construction. Doug Shanda will become SVP, operations. Chad Zamarin will become SVP, pipeline. Sean Markowitz will become general counsel and corporate secretary. And Corey Grindal will become SVP, gas supply.
