El Paso reported a force majeure event on its North Mainline as the result of a leak on Line 1201 upstream of Navajo Compressor Station. Assessment of the leak and subsequent repair requires not only isolation of Line 1201 but also isolation of a portion of Lines 1204 and 1208, thus restricting operations in the area to only Line 1200, El Paso said. As a result, North Mainline capacity was reduced to 1,165 MMcf/d until further notice, representing an approximate reduction of 370 MMcf/d, or 25%, based upon Cycle 2 scheduled quantities for Wednesday. See the bulletin board for further details.

Due to a possible leak, ANR said it will be required to perform an unplanned pipeline inspection on its 20-inch diameter offshore line upstream of Patterson, LA, that requires the shut-in of 11 receipt points.

Questar said it had completed repair work in its ML 68 segment ahead of schedule and thus was accepting increased nominations there beginning with Wednesday’s Intraday 2 cycle.

The force majeure declared Sunday at Mexico Compressor Station remains in effect until further notice, Rockies Express said Thursday, adding that it has determined that the damaged power turbine on Unit #2 cannot be repaired on site. “Accordingly, a replacement turbine has been acquired and is expected to arrive on site Friday,” the pipeline said. Barring unforeseen circumstances, a resumption of Mexico service was estimated to occur on or about Sunday. Until then, quantities through Segment 300 will remain limited to 1,500,000 Dth/d.
