Southern Natural Gas noted that as previously posted, it is in the process of abandoning its 16-inch diameter Mississippi Canyon 268 Line. As a result the West Delta 152 receipt point has been shut in and Southern is not accepting nominations there for about six days starting with Wednesday’s gas day. Since there is firm service at the point, this work constitutes a force majeure, the pipeline said.

Northwest said there will be no physical flow through the mainline between the Willard and Washougal compressor stations Wednesday while it performs pipe replacement in Skamania County, WA. However, current conditions will enable Northwest to schedule up to about 200,000 Dth west through Willard, it said, and thus primary gas should not be affected. However, depending on system operations, Northwest may cut alternate gas.

Gulf South said the North Terrebonne Gas Plant in South Louisiana shut down Monday for about 15 days and began depressurizing the pipelines that leave Gulf South’s Kent Bayou facility in Gibson, LA, that deliver and receive volumes from the plant in order to install pig traps and conduct in-line inspections. Thirteen associated locations have waivers in place and can remain online “as long as Gulf South is able to blend these volumes to meet our tariff specifications. If blending is not possible, these locations will be required to shut in until plant processing resumes.” Regardless, those points were directed to take their Plant Volume Reduction nominations to zero until the work is finished, while two other locations were required to shut in by the work.

NGPL said a meter upgrade at its Moss Bluff interconnect in southeast Texas was being completed as scheduled and it had capacity available there for Wednesday. ITS/AOR and Secondary Firm transports are available, the pipeline said.
