In a weekend update to shippers with Must-flow OFO obligations south through the Kemmerer (WY) Compressor Station, Northwest said Sunday’s scheduled nominations northbound through Kemmerer were 694,434 Dth, or 29,434 Dth above the operationally available capacity. “The total volumes Northwest can call upon from Realignment shippers continue to decline as Realignment shippers bring on more supply from receipt points north of Kemmerer,” the pipeline said. “As a result, Northwest was less than 5,000 Dth/d away from issuing individual notices to Must-flow shippers.” Northwest said that if primary firm nominations continue to exceed the operationally available capacity and the volumes subject to a Realignment OFO continue to decline, it will issue individual notices to Must-flow shippers to nominate from receipt points north of Kemmerer to delivery points south of Kemmerer.

Due to an unplanned failure of compressor units A2 and B at the TransQuebec & Maritimes Station #650 (Lachenaie), TransCanada said it is unable to meet all nominated volumes requested downstream of Lachenaie. Deliveries impacted are to the GMi EDA and East Hereford locations.. As a result, TransCanada was authorizing no increases in transport delivering downstream of Lachenaie Sunday and also curtailing discretionary services (including IT and diversions) by 50% of what was previously authorized. Restrictions will continue until the operational outage has ended, TransCanada said; see the bulletin board for details.

After reporting the completion of repairs to Oak Spring Compressor Station’s #1 unit and saying Southern System capacities would return to normal Sunday, Questar found a need for additional unexpected repairs during the unit’s restart. Questar said it resumed scheduling volumes through the relocated West Fidlar scheduling point (currently upstream of Price Station) Sunday and will continue to do so until repairs are complete. The pipeline said it is reducing scheduled volumes by 60,000 Dth/d to 265,000 Dth/d, or about 20%.
