Dominion activated an OFO Friday for customers behind six New York utilities downstream of its Boom and Stateline facilities, as it had cautioned might be necessary in an OFO Advisory issued Thursday (see Daily GPI, Jan. 9). No OFO was issued for several Mid-Atlantic utilities that had been listed in a separate OFO Advisory.

Florida Gas Transmission extended Thursday’s Overage Alert Day notice through at least Friday, but loosened the tolerance for negative daily imbalances from 15% to 20%.

CenterPoint canceled a systemwide alert, issued last Tuesday, effective with the start of Friday’s gas day.

Saying it has experienced colder than normal temperatures in its “entire market area for several days and expects this weather pattern to continue,” Transco said it would cease allowing due-shipper imbalance make-up nominations Saturday (Jan. 10) until further notice. Also on Saturday, it planned to restrict the negative imbalance tolerance at pooling points to 1% or 1,000 dekatherms. However, it will not enforce the pool schedule tolerance during the timely nomination cycle.

Trunkline revised Friday the impact schedule of an on-stream cleaning and in-line inspection of 46 miles of 30-inch pipe on its LNG Lateral in southwest Louisiana that began Tuesday (see Daily GPI, Jan. 5). The expected duration of the project now is 16 days. Interruptions of deliveries for two to three hours each day to Transco Ragley, Florida Gas Manchester and Conoco LGS will extend through Tuesday of this week instead of ending Friday as previously expected. On Jan. 14 and Jan 21, lateral throughput will be limited to about 250,000 Dth/d for 12-14 hours each day. Also on those two days, deliveries to the three delivery points mentioned above will be interrupted 12-14 hours each day.

NOVA said it had determined that leak repairs on its Marten Hills Lateral (see Daily GPI, Jan. 9) will be completed Sunday evening (Jan. 11), and that the affected plant would be contacted to resume flows at that time.

Northwest began accepting requests Friday for interruptible service at its Jackson Prairie Storage facility. Shippers must have an interruptible storage contract to use this service. If it becomes necessary for Northwest to use the capacity for firm obligations, the pipeline said, it will give seven days’ notice to affected customers that they must reduce their working gas inventory to a level specified by Northwest.
