Tennessee said it was ceasing enforcement Tuesday of a Balancing Party’s Maximum Allowable Volume.

A compressor went down on the outlet side of the Waskom (TX) Processing Plant for an estimated 16-24 hours, CenterPoint said Tuesday morning. This outage, combined with mild temperatures and low demand on its East Texas System, required the reduction of about 20 MMcf/d of supplies on the F-185 and AM-47 Lines, CenterPoint said.

Citing a critical notice it had posted Jan. 26, 2001, about all gas entering its system upstream of Eunice, LA meeting tariff requirements with respect to hydrocarbon dew points, TGT said Tuesday that any tendered gas without proof of meeting one of three specific criteria (see the bulletin board for details) would be scheduled to zero. “Any customer, OBA [operational balancing agreement] party or operator who elects to flow gas above the scheduled quantity of zero is subject to issuance of an operational flow order and any resultant penalties. This situation is anticipated to continue through at least the month of June 2003,” the pipeline said.
