Due to a scheduled pig run late last week resulting in “very high liquid levels” on the Matagorda Offshore Pipeline System, scheduled volumes from MOPS into interconnects with Florida Gas Transmission, Gulf South and Tejas Gas Pipeline remained at zero Monday until further notice (see Daily GPI, Nov. 11).

Florida Gas Transmission declared an Overage Alert Day notice Monday with 15% tolerance for negative daily imbalances.

CIG reported experiencing a mechanical problem Friday with one of its four Natural Buttes Station engines, which reduced capacity by about 45 MMcf/d. CIG said it was expediting repairs and expected the unit to be available for service again for Tuesday’s gas day.

The #5 compressor at Custer Station is down for repairs that are expected to be completed by Thursday morning, CenterPoint (formerly Reliant) said Monday. Capacity on Line 2 is limited to 100,000 Dth/day during this outage. Over the weekend the pipeline had declared a force majeure after losing three Custer units, but the force majeure was lifted Monday.
