  • QatarEnergy has awarded a $10 billion engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract for its North Field South (NFS) LNG expansion project to Technip Energies NV and Consolidated Contractors Co.
  • NFS, comprised of two trains with a combined capacity of 16 million metric tons/year (mmty), is one of two projects QatarEnergy is progressing to expand export capacity. NFS and North Field East would grow its LNG capacity to an estimated 126 mmty.
  • QatarEnergy also delivered its first LNG cargo with a statement of greenhouse gas emissions (SGE) to a terminal in Singapore.
