El Paso took Line 1204 between the Williams and Seligman Stations out of service for unscheduled maintenance Thursday night. Repairs may continue into Saturday (Sept. 22), the pipeline said Friday. North Mainline capacity was reduced by 250 MMcf/d until Line 1204 is returned to service.

Noting that it had been necessary back in April to make temporary repairs to the dehydration equipment at its Logansport (LA) Compressor Station (see Daily GPI, April 24), Sonat said Friday that the time has come for permanent repairs. The work will take three to five days and is planned to begin Oct. 1, the pipeline said. All 59 receipt points upstream of the station will need to shut in while the repairs are made. Sonat said it will declare a force majeure and issue an OFO Type 1 in association with the work.
