As the top natural gas producer in Canada, Tourmaline Oil Corp. flowed 2.2 Bcf/d throughout the third quarter of 2022, with next year’s output expected to average 2.5 Bcf/d.

Natural gas exports to the United States played a starring role in the company’s growth, and long-distance trading results have earned an American regulatory trophy. The Calgary independent is building its portfolio to serve markets across the North American continent, from the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin to the Gulf Coast.

Tourmaline, which reports in Canadian dollars (C$1.00/US 78 cents) currently has 754 MMcf/d flowing into U.S. markets through long-term firm transport agreements, CEO Michael Rose said during the quarterly conference call.
